Synthetic oil is naturally multi grade, so a 40/60 synth will have little in the way of viscosity improvers and will stay in grade better , for the life of the oil. A 10/60 will have a large quantity of viscosity improvers, will probably be thinner at working temp than the 40/60, and will slowly revert to a 30 wt oil.
43. Location: West Michigan. I purchased s/s bolts, cut-off the head off for length needed to stick out far enough for the filter cover and a s/s nut. Then, I threaded them into the cases, that way you have studs for the oil filter covers. You'll never strip the case threads again. #10.
